Visited Primo, formerly Key Club, after it has been closed for a few months. They had a shooting after hours last fall and were closed for a long time. They changed the name and the staff, but the club is essentially the same. There's more strict security now than there was, for obvious reasons. For this review, I visited in the evening. It was pretty quiet, only about 2 or 3 other customers. Only a couple of dancers-one black and one blonde white girl-and neither I really liked so I didn't get a lap dance. Atmosphere is the same as it was; more of a relaxed neighborhood bar than a ghetto place. Parking is the same either on the street or around the back and still feels secure.

I've never been after hours before, but I had gone at night. After hours is when they had the trouble, but at night it was bad. Used to get crowded but I always felt safe. They used to have quite a few black girls, especially thicker ones. Once they become more established again and people know they're open, the dancer numbers may improve. I heard that the club is also trying to expand or open a restaurant next door in the same building.
