Being new in town and generally only interested in black women, I thought I'd check out Rachel's and then Sinbads'. Overall, I preferred Sinbads but I had such a bad experience there. I think the problem is that the dancers ern commissions when you to buy them a drinks at set prices of $10++. The result is that the girls get slammed ass drunk and some people can't help but act up. When I first walked into Sinbads', I talked with the owner and told her I only like black women. The owner then gave me a free drink. I bought several dancer's drinks and drank a few myself. Throughout the evening, I was the only white customer. I spent much of my time talking with a regular customer while he gave me a general lay of the south side nites. Then came the bad experience. I found a dancer I thought I would like and asked her to sit with me. I began to buy her drinks.... I didn't notice she was already hammmered. Although I was paying for this dancer's drinks, out of the blue, she leaned over me and told the regular customer that she was only sitting next to me in deference to him. I was offended but simply moved. After that, she began to walk around telling every other customer that I called her a nigger.... which I didn't. Hell, we had no conversation at all. Eventually the owner asked me if I called her that name. She said she knew I didn't but needed to ask me regardless. Bottom line: Ain't goin' back!
