Visited this club 7/29/05 after checkin' out Rol-Lexx. The place was decked out with ballons outside and decorative tissue paper (can't think of the right name right now) with balloons on the inside to celebrate a couple of dancer's birthday's or something. $15 to get in. Same single stage with the moat concept as Rol-Lexx. Although I'm not a strip-club expert, I'm just not used to it and it is quite foreign to me. I spoke briefly with a dancer named Apple Bottom (she was a bit slender but when she stood up to talk to one of her buddies across the room, I realized why she was called Apple Bottom - whew man !!) who was dancing at the club for the first time, and had driven down to Miami from Orlando where she dances at Cleo's (the only black club in Orlando). She could not quite get with the "breach-the-moat-to-get-tip" concept, either. After talking with her, I sat down at the bar and Strawberry came by to ask why I was sitting by myself on that side of the bar (more dancers than patrons - same thing at Rol-Lexx). Our conversation proved fruitful (no, I did not get a dance from her but gave her a tip for the info and the chit-chat - hey she's tryin' to get paid ya' know) because after telling her what I was used to and where I was from, she said that in Miami, the nude clubs generally have the dancer behind the bar. I guess it's because they serve alcohol. This really puts the onus on the dancer to make her money with the lap dances (they are nude, with potentially a lot of contact). As for me, that was the clincher because I'm more interested in the stage show (one can see and tip more ladies that way). Again there was alot of the "Boom-Bam", it just was not on display. 7.5 for potential 6 for production (good info and decent chit-chat with Strawberry - it would have been lower with respect to the $15 cover) 6.5 total
