I revisited the Pony on my way through town just before 7:00 P.M. on a Friday night within the last month. The cover was $5.00 with a 2 drink minimum. Bouncers and DJ were polite and friendly. Waitresses were attentive and prompt in serving drinks. When I first arrived things were very quite as it was the middle of a shift change with only 3 dancers visible. Before I left around 9:00 P.M. several more dancers showed up. The club itself was pleasant and fairly well kept. With the Memphis laws being what they are, on stage you are watching clothed dancers. I wouldn't go to this club to watch the dancers on stage.

I was approached by 4 different dancers and had lap dances with three. The dancers were polite, friendly and not unpleasant to look at (7 on average). Dances quoted were $40 (whew, expensive in my book - especially for a clothed dance), 3 for $100 or $200 for 15 minutes, $400 for 30 minutes. I opted for the 3 for $100 option. The girls were very attentive and the dances in my opinion were as good as they could be and still be legal in Memphis. I wouldn't travel to Memphis just to go to a gentlemen's club due to the laws, but if you are passing through I believe the experience is as good as it gets in the area. I would stop by again if in the Memphis area.
