I went to Camelot recently on a Monday night. Many clubs tend to be rather slow on Monday evenings, but this place was packed with guys. Lots of men in coat and tie. This is a much more upscale club than Archibald’s over on K and 15th. If you go to Camelot directly from the office, and you are wearing suit and tie, you will fit right in.

The girls are gorgeous, and very friendly. There are no lap dances here. Between their stage sets, the girls will just sit and talk with the customers. As long as you tip well, and buy them something to drink, they are happy to sit and chat with you.

I thought the club was great. It has two levels, so if you’re downstairs and you don’t like your seat, simply go upstairs. There is no cover charge, but the beers are pretty expensive. No draft beer – all beers are in a bottle. The girls go up and dance a two-song set. The first one, they are wearing bikini or some other outfit, and then for the second one they get naked. When they are finished, they put their outfit back on, and then they go around the room asking for tips.
