First visit to Ambers since late...

First visit to Ambers since late '80s. It's a moderately nice club, troll booth at the vestibule, no cove Saturday when I arrived around 1pm. Bar along one wall, large stage with brass polls sourounded with short tip-rail stools, juts out into a sea of 4-top cocktail tables, and an open area, multi seat VIP dance area is along the back wall. Being lunch time, I got the chicken fingers with fries and an MGD, food was prompt and tasty while the wait staff and bouncers were friendly. As for the dancers, they were also friendly, understood a polite "no thanks" but unless you're into Rubenesque socker moms, they rank pretty low on the hot scale.
