I had read the other reviews...

I had read the other reviews of this place, and so when I came through Irvington earlier this month I thought I would try the evening shift. My bad, for not paying enough attention to those reviews - for while it was dark outside, it was only 6PM - and the day shift was still on. And by "day shift," I mean three "dancers" - two not-at-all-hot Brazilians, even on the BBW scale, who were nice enough to talk to (if you speak a little Portuguese), but not very pleasant to look at. And one thin white girl who sat by herself at the bar, totally uninterested in anything going on around her.

I stayed for about a half hour, which unfortunately is a half hour I won't ever get back. But I just kept waiting for someone to dance... or take their clothes off... or something. No dice. The Brazilians and the bartender spent their time talking to me and one other patron at the bar (there were four of us total, I think), and the other girl just sat in the corner.

I may still go back, to see the evening shift (the real evening shift, that is - they said it starts after 8). Otherwise I will stick to other clubs for daytime action.
