I love TUSCL because it keeps track of the last time I have been to a specific club. In the case of the TL, April 29, 2012 was the last time I was here so, damn, it's been a while!

Had a Monday off after a very eventful weekend in Arizona (a separate review to come) so I decided to make a visit to my old TL stomping grounds. Did you know that you can pull a free pass from the TL website? Did you know that there was a TL website. Well, that appears to be the case so I printed one up and made my way to Upland. Was greeted by the old doorman who knew me pretty well back at HT. We greeeted one another with a friendly gesture and I made my way in through the vinyl drapes like I was going through a car wash. Not a whole lot going on as expected as this was a Monday afternoon at 12:30. Drppoed myself on one of the roll-away chairs that was transplanted from HT and was hit up for a drink immediately by the drink server on duty. A few hellos and dance offers from some the girls right away as expected, but I was not ready to take the plunge right away. I had heard that Sassy, whom I have had history with, has made a triumphant return to the club and was hoping to see her on this day. But she was not on the dance card today. A few familiar faces and many that I had not seen before.

I finally saw a very familiar face on stage who saw me while she was maneuvering herself around the pole. It was Astrid! She was also known as Kelly back in the HT days. She made her way to me and was really happy to see me. In all honesty, I was glad to see her too. People give Astrid a lot of shit. She's older, kind of a space-case, and often high on something. I can say the same thing but her and I can have a good chat and end up having a good time. She can make me laugh and I enjoy her massages just from her sitting next to me. I think she has a pretty face and a solid body for her age. It took about 20 minutes before she asked me to dance. We took it to the infamous corner couch where I have had many topless dances turn into full UHM experiences back when I first started visiting here. Astrid gave me a good grind for one song but really wanted to take to VIP. She made a case of why we should go and because I am a man, I said yes.
