Looking for the Place To Be

It was the last Thursday of the month so I decided to venture into fantasyland. Already knew parking in the regular lot was a no-go so I parked around the corner in the Carl Jr.'s lot which was pretty full. Luckily someone was pulling out so I grabbed that space.

Walked around the corner as a girl in shorts with her bag was getting out of a car and talking to a bouncer. He looked at me and told me I'd have to wait a moment. I was thinking, "Wow, it must be packed like a clown car inside." The bouncer told the dancer there was no room for her to park in the lot and that were over 40 girls. She said that was fine and they talked about where she could park. Moments later, the bouncer turned to me, apologized for the wait, did a quick pat down of me, and then led me inside. I paid my $20, hit the little "Accept" button on the digital keypad, and then I was through the turnstile. Got my drink ($8 water) from the bar to the left and found a seat at a counter behind floor tables and chairs facing the one stage in the center with a pole with a glass rear wall.

To my left next to the bar is a hallway leading to the barthroom, exit, and a door leading to girl's locker room. Behind me is a kind of arcing couch on a slightly raised platform. To the right of that is the entrance to VIP rooms manned by a bouncer. The girl gets a chip at the bar once you pay the bartender and then the two of you stand in a line to VIP. It was Thursday so many were there for the $80 Special for 15 minutes. Regular dances down further right up some steps in booths are $40 for 3 unless a special is called. Steps to the left of the stage lead up to the action area but most girls enter via curtains next to the DJ booth off to the side of the stage. Finally, there's an entrance to the dressing room onto the floor in front of the stage to the left. This is where we see the dancers moving back and forth as they traverse the area with patrons. I know extended VIP are more money---I think $190 for 30 minutes in a room with a door. Never did that, never will. Not necessary for my good time.
