Goldrush is okay, but other than...

Goldrush is okay, but other than for token variety there really isn't anything special about the club. Access and visibility from I-85 are great if you are near the airport. If you are north of the city go to Follies. Parking is $2, and while the lot is rough, it won't damage your car. Entry at night is $10 (there is a sign that on the main marquee that advertises free cover during the day - maybe before 7?). It is technically a mixed club, but Friday nights are 90% black -- customers and dancers. There was a little diversity but not much if you don't like rap and black girls. If you like black girls it's all good -- thick ones, slim ones, dark ones and light ones.

Folks have talked about the remodel, but it made the club worse IMO. They have added new seating areas for a fee where free seating once was (still plenty of free seating, though), and they removed my favorite VIP - the one that was on the far back wall and a bit to the right as you entered the club replaced it with another of those new seating areas for a fee. Damn shame about that old VIP - my best memories of Goldrush happened back there! My dances were okay -- fully nude and a decent grind, and my hands were allowed to lightly roam, but they weren't anything to write home about. Best part is that the dances are $10. It's Atlanta, so you'll still smell like an ashtray when you leave. I always hit Goldrush over the years because of the action I could get in VIP without that much competition. I didn't try this time, but I honestly didn't want to with all the changes. I'm probably done with this club.
