Archibald's is one of a very few strip clubs in Washington DC. The city has peculiar rules regarding these establishments, where they let them have full bars and totally nude dancers, but absolutely NO contact, including lap dances. So, if you like lap dances, DC is not the place for you.

Which is a shame, because the girls here are really quite excellent to look at. There is a good variety of shapes and sizes, although they were almost all white girls on my trip. A decided lack of breast implants, but some dancers rocking natural D's with nice bodies to accompany.

The club itself is awkwardly shaped and laid out. it looks to be a converted row home, and there is a regular "sports bar" upstairs. The club is narrow, maybe about 20 feet wide, and does not have a proper stage. There are two raised platforms with stripper poles, and nowhere to sit to view the dance and tip. I felt weird having to walk up to stand next to the dancers to tip them, so I eventually just sat and let them come to me. They walk around soliciting tips and asking for drinks after their stage time.
