I've been to a few Scores locations over the years, and have always had a good time. My "main" Scores was the NYC location back when I worked nearby, but when I saw this place on a recent visit to Houston across the small side street from the Vivid, I decided to make it a point to visit. So a few weeks back I made it there as I was visiting on business. The cover charge that night was $10, but they gave me free admission with an online coupon, which is nice. Drinks are the standard strip club price - a steep $8 for a standard budweiser. TO be expected. But the girl quality that night was superb, especially considering it was the middle of the week. Every dancer that came out I would rate between a 7 and a 9, just really pretty girls. Their ethnicities were varied as well - in addition to the white girls (about half of the dancers), there were african americans, hispanics, and asians. a really nice mix, which I appreciated. Not a whole lot of really "curvy" girls, though, which I tend to prefer. Many were more on the slim side. I got a lapdance from one of the hispanic girls there dancing - she said she was originally from Mexico. $20 for a 3 song dance, she said the first one was free! The dance was really hot, and she allowed a lot of handsiness on my part. I kept it as gentlemanly as possible! But plenty of boob/butt play, and lots of close up eye contact, which made for a more intimate dance. Tipped her an extra $10, and she hung around for a drink (another $10), for a few more songs, this time with the handsiness on her part. Will definitely return!

I was here on business a few weeks back, and decided to check out the local Vivid club. I had been to Vivid clubs in Florida, so I figured I would see what Houston had going on. The club itself is nice, if unremarkable. The drinks were typical club prices, but the bartender gave me a generous size pour of jack. The dancers rotated through on stage, and were very ethnically mixed - I don't think I saw two girls in a row of the same race or country of origin! After their dances they would make the rounds and I would tip, then they would ask if I was interested in a private dance. I took one african-american spinner type up on her offer, and she gave a gratis 2-for-1. She was a great dancer, and made me feel fantastic! I will for sure be back next trip.

I was here on a business trip, and have been to other Scores locations, specifically the NYC one, and saw their brand name here. I had a good time in NY, so I decided to give their NC club a try. It is just OK. The club itself is perfectly fine, kind of clean but in a "sterile" kind of way, like you can tell it really doesn't have a history or personality. Soulless, maybe? Also, the girls they are pulling in to work here don't seem up to southern belle standards. They were also... just OK. I have been some places in the Carolinas that have fantastic looking girls, and really there's nothing overtly wrong or busted about the Scores girls in MC, but they were just kind of "meh". Like, "yep, that is what an average looking naked girl looks like." I did have one girl who I was not interested in come and plant herself on a seat next to me and try to make small talk leading into a lap dance, but I was really not into it by that point. but she wouldnt leave after I declined, and just kinda stared off into space with a 1000 yard stare for about 15 minutes. I do appreciate BYOB places, though, as it makes the drinking feel a bit more relaxed.
