I stopped in at Lucky devils...

I stopped in at Lucky devils after striking out at 3 other clubs on Powell. It was a rainy Monday night, so I wasn't expecting much. But this place, right off the Ross Island bridge, was packed. I squeezed in to a seat at the stage rail and was treated to 4 or 5 great dancers doing 3 song sets. There are a few poles along the stage bar top and some pipes bolted in the beams that let one of the dancers show off her gymnastics training. Portland permits totally nude dancing, and the dancers here weren't the least bit shy. They were friendly and really seemed to enjoy entertaining.

The bar is well stocked with all the popular labels and the blonde bartender pours good drinks :-). There are some curtained off areas for private dances, and I now really regret that I did not partake. A couple of card tables were filled too, I think they were playing poker (I couldn't take my eyes off the stage long enough to care or tell. There were also some video bingo/poker machines I'm not exactly sure what Oregon gambling and liquor law permits.

I had fun, I will definitely go there again. And this time it will be my first stop. I wasted lots of time checking out glimmers and Rose City and another club father East on Powell.
