I had not been to Platinum...

I had not been to Platinum since late July so I had the itch and decided to visit. This was my first Monday night visit and I would describe it as just average. $8 cover at 9 and you get change in $2 bills. I don't mind during somewhat busy times because you can use it for tipping or drinks. Hate getting the $2 bills in the afternoon though when it is very slow. I only recognized a few of the dancers and a lot of the ones I did talk to said they started about 5 months ago. I arrived around 9 and it was not crowded at all. About 20 dancers or so and around the same amount of customers. Drinks were half price for Monday Night Football and they had free wings. I did not eat any of the wings and I did not see anyone else although I was sitting on the far side. As usual, you get hounded pretty quick for a dance but I was surprised at how well most of the dancers responded when I told them I did not want company at the moment. None of the mumbling or snide remarks I have encountered in the past. I guess it was good timing but about 15 minutes after I arrived and settled in they did the hourly 2 for 1. I was trying to make eye contact with these two blondes and one of them approached and we went to the back. Overall a pretty good dance but maybe not as much two way contact as I have experienced. I sat back down after the dances and a while later met up with another dancer who gave me the wonderful dances that I accustomed to getting at Platinum. After about 4 songs I needed a rest. I went back to my seat and one of the two blondes I had noticed all night was on stage. I went up and tipped her and asked her to come join me. To my knowledge I was the only one who tipped her during the rotation. After she finished at the third stage she walked around, passed by me twice and finally made her way to go sit with her friend. Oh well, you win some and you lose some. I had already gotten dances from the two that were my type and if the third did not want my money that night then I would just check it up to the game and leave with money in my pocket. I gave my $2 bills to the hardworking waitress and called it a night.

Overall I had a good time and it satisfied the itch to get back in the game. As usual there were a couple of 8-9's and some 3-4's. I liked the fact that it was sort of a slow night and you could relax and did not have to worry about finding a seat. I will try to check out the club again later in the month and see how things are.
