Sugar Daddy's - Scanlon has quite possibly the nicest club atmosphere in northern Minnesota. The club is clean, there are lots of comfortable chairs, the tables are covered in linen, and the non-dancing staff usually wear vests and bow ties. There are couches along the wall for lap dances, and a VIP area tucked back behind the bar. The VIP area isn't extremely private, but generally isn't terribly crowded either.

The girls range from 1's to 10's. Seriously. On any night I've been there, there are usually two hot girls, a couple average to above average girls, and one or two that most guys don't want anywhere near them. The shift change used to occur around 8 or 9 o'clock, and it was good to get there around 7:30 to see if you should spend money on dances from a girl or two on the early shift, or hang back and wait for the shift change. One more thing about the dancers is that this seems to be the only club around where the girls on stage can be under twenty-one.

Some girls work you for dances harder than others. If you see one you really want to have take you to the VIP room, the best bet, in my experience, was not to be shy, but to ask her for some dances as soon as possible, perhaps even while she's pulling you up to see her more closely after you give her a dollar or two while she's on stage. The reason not to wait: A lot of the patrons don't seem to be flush with cash and girls get turned down a lot. If you tell them you want to spend time and money on them, they appreciate it.
