I worked at AC Dolls a few nights last summer. I was less than thrilled with the facilities but since I was just starting out dancing in NJ I gave it a shot anyway. I've heard they've done minor renovations since then. I was disappointed in the DJ just because I was told that they would not play hip hop (which I find much easier to do stage to) and that they would do R+B. I don't mind r+b so much so I went with it anyway and got stuck dancing to Nicki Minaj (yuck). I don't know why they would play slower music because, in my experience, slower music= slower drinking= less spending. There were only about 10 girls on each given shift I worked. Some of them were beautiful and others were a train wreck. They seemed to be really hit or miss as far as looks go, but all of them seemed pretty personable. I wouldn't say to avoid this club, give it a shot and decide on your own. Like I said, the girls are really personable so as a patron, you'll more than likely be satisfied. From a worker's point of view, if you're a dancer scoping out clubs-- I wouldn't.
