I haven’t given an update on the Silver Bullet in over seven months. The biggest change to the club came a few weeks back. The club increased the price of a private dance to $15. There is a sign on the door noting this. At $15, a dance on a bar stool with limited friction is not a good value. You get the same dance you used to get for $10 back in June. The increase in private dance price has not come with an increase in mileage. You still cannot touch breasts or anywhere close to the vajayjay. Some dancers will throw in a free dance or two if you are a regular and buy strings of more than a few dances. Avoid the ROB’s like Ivy who don’t even dance a full song and expect fifteen bones. The shift fee for dancers went up from $20/night to $30/night.

Another change is the addition of four video slot machines occupying the southeast corner. It seems like all of the Champaign-Urbana bars now seem to have three or four of these machines. The odds are bad and the jackpots are paltry. Don’t even bother wasting your time or money. It seems dumb to have these in a strip club because they compete with the dancers for a patron’s supply disposable money. If you have been to the Silver Bullet before, you know it is pretty cramped inside; these machines further reduce the space and eliminate a table or two.

The club is open Tuesday through Saturday; no more Monday nights. The cover charge is still $5 and 18-20 year olds are permitted. Females 21 and older don’t have to pay a cover. A bottle of beer is now $3.25. I believe they used to be $3. It is a pain having to deal with change in a strip club.
