This is a composite review of 2 trips, one after 10 on a tuesday and one after midnight on Sunday. What prompted my trip to Exotica was reading reviews about the lap dances being a little more liberal in contact than other area clubs.

The area itself is run down, but the parking light is bright and I felt okay. There was no cover either day I went. There are two stages but not enough dancers to occupy both. I spent approximately 30 minutes there each visit and I believe I saw all the dancers working 6-7 each shift. There is one girl on stage at a time. Each dancer does 2 dances, one topless, one fully nude. Some dancers offered no contact for tipping at the stage, other dances climbed off the stage and gave a mini lap dance. The two nights I visited all the dancers were african american and almost all the dancers were carrying extra weight. I was challenged to find a dancer that did it for me.

The private dance area is a "ring" of seats in the back with a thin curtain. I took a seat near the stage where I could get a sense for what was going on in the lap dance area. It seemed that some dancers were light contact, other dancers were heavy contact and some were two way contact. I noticed some dancers went nude and some kept their bottoms on. It seemed very inconsistent.
