I've been to this club before...

I've been to this club before it moved to it's new location and with it's new decor and ambiance, and I've been to it a couple of times since it moved to its current location. I was never overly impressed with it as a "strip club". As others have said, it's more of a bar/nightclub with somewhat nude dancing. The club itself is pretty cool, in terms of a good decor. The dancers are usually pretty good, but with my last recent visit (I was curious to see if anything has changed) I confirmed what has always been the case at this club, and at other Calgary clubs in general. There's not really a whole lot of dancing going on dancers. They typically just strut around, strike some poses, and follow the usual 3-song routine: song #1 involves strutting around in a bikini or lingerie, song #2 is topless, and song #3 is sometimes nude or sometimes not, and very early into that song the dancer starts playing the "loonie" coin toss game for the patrons at the edge of the stage. Oh well. I guess some things never change. One thing I always enjoy though, is that the waitresses are often skimpily dressed and are usually very attractive. So they're actually part of the show too! It's just disappointing sometimes when it's more fun to watch the waitresses than it is to watch the dancers on stage. All in all, a good place for some laid back enjoyment, but otherwise nothing too exciting.
