This used to be my favorite...

This used to be my favorite club in Memphis. Unfortunately it closed earlier in 2013. The ordinance meant to curb "vice" just managed to close several clubs including this great one. The area is now deserted and instead of a nice club you have a rundown area with more crime than before.

At least the club building is intact so hopefully it will reopen someday. This was a large club, a fairly large rectagular stage and two levels of seating on three sides of it. Further back there were numerous "lounge chairs" and tables. In the back there were also a couple of dance poles for some closer action.

I visited day and night and there were always enough dancers, many of them 6 to 9! My most memorable one was Layla, an Eastern European blonde with great personality. I kept buying more lapdances just for the great conversations (and mind-blowing dances). What I really liked about Memphis clubs (even though they were topless only) was that touching the dancer was OK (not like the air dances of other places).
