This is my "go to" club...

This is my "go to" club whenever I'm in town. As soon as I walk in, I head to the restroom. I ask the attendant how's business. He said it's real slow. Too much competition from other clubs.

Well, first thing I notice is the place has been remodeled. Or at least they're working on it. The stage is now in the middle of the floor, rather than in the back. Still, no one's dancing. I grab a seat at the bar and watch some car show on TV. It was a good 30 minutes before I was approached. Well, I counded less than 5 dancers in the place.

I was only approached by one dancer the whole time I was there. The afternoon rates used to be $10 a dance. Now this girl says it's $10 a dance in the chairs throughout the room. But if you want to use the sofas that line the walls, it's $20 dance. I don't know if that's typical. I'm used to the old prices. Anyway, she must have sensed my displeasure so she offers me 4 dances in the booth for $60.
