Everything in Vegas is a gamble

I was in town for work so I thought I would try Palomino again. It's never been a favorite, because it's so freaking sketchy to get there. It takes a lot to make Industrial and Western Ave look upscale in comparison. Nonetheless, I made my way back, parked, and went through the awkward entry. The bouncer made me pay $40 cover, which felt like something he just pulled out of his ass since it sounds like others have paid more and less.

The club mostly looked same as before with a long hallway that goes from the entrance to the main room. There is strange side living room area that is sometimes open and sometimes not with extra stages. Otherwise, the main stage area is where most of the dancers do their sets. The main bar in the back is oddly a hotspot—not just for drinks, but for dancers hanging out to pick up PLs for VIPs. The club is also split between two levels with a slightly weird loft area that is more subdued, with another bar and small stage that weren't in use, and VIP rooms lining the area on both sides of the loft.

The club is supposed to have a “girl-next-door” vibe, but maybe I just hit a bad night, and I didn't see that many spinner types at all. The overall dancer-to-customer ratio wasn’t great that night at all and felt like a bit of a PLfest, and dancer quality was all over the place. One insane dancer came up to me, grabbed me by the crotch with one hand and pinched my nipple with another. I wanted to slap her, but imagine the frustrating feeling of being unable to do so. But that was the fd up vibe that night, it just didn't feel all that chill. The stage performances were kinda lackluster too. Despite the full nudity, the vibe around the stage felt dull and disengaged. There was paid seating in this weird elevated area too. The poor seating downstairs didn’t help and a lot of PLs preferred standing near the bar, which was better lit and had more dancer traffic anyway.
