As a regular visitor to San Diego, I have been to the Cheetah more than I'd like to admit. But I am from out of town so my visits are limited to a couple of times a year. Overall this club is hands down the best in San Diego. The girls are generally cute, friendly, give good laps, and although YMMV you can have a pretty doggone good time in the VIP. As a long timer my only complaint is the recent upturn in dollars required to have some fun. In addition to the $20 cover/membership, single laps are now $20 and done in the VIP room in the back to the right, the going rate for the other room on the left is 5 for $100. Songs are 3 minutes or less in this club, so either side will go fast. The girls here have always been big on the sales push and they don't love doing the single dances so you will almost always get the big push for the $100 room. There is also now a new room in the front that is extra private and more expensive that I have not tried out. The recent remodeling here is very nice and the place is as clean as a club like this can be. In general, just keep in mind that money goes fast in this place and the hustle factor is high but if you are prepared you can have a great time here.
