I come to Portland every few...

I come to Portland every few months for work and I tend to hit a few of the clubs while I'm here. I like to try out different places each time, so since I was staying in the vicinity, I decided to give Pirates Cove a try. It is a tiny place - probably one of the smallest "strip clubs" I've ever been in. However, the drinks are strong and cheap, so if you're looking for a cheap buzz, this is your place. The bartender was nice, but she was working alone and could have probably used some help. There were only two girls trading off dancing, which kind of bummed me out. Like others have stated before, the dancing part seems to be a secondary priority here. Definitely more of a corner bar than a strip club, but hey, sometimes that's what you need, right?
