This review is from a visit in September of 2012. I'm planning to return to Las Vegas for a business trip in the next month, and am anticipating a few afternoons at Cheetahs.

This was my first time at Cheetahs. I had read here at TUSCL about the casual atmosphere on the afternoon shift, so gave it a try. Not an impressive approach, with an unkempt parking lot in an industrial wasteland, but things got better inside. The doorman seemed like he wanted to direct me to some specific seats, but I asked where the restrooms were first, and then I was free to roam. Unfortunately, another staffer noticed me wandering and took me to sit with a nice little old lady. Hey, I've got a Granny back home, and I don't want a lapdance from her either. But I bought her a drink, (one of the two required drink purchases for each customer), and had her tell me about the "rules" of the place. She lied more than a little, but I sort of expect that. Did a pity dance with her - wish I hadn't - and eventually freed myself enough to notice many other more attractive dancers.

Got the attention of someone who was MUCH more to my liking and changed seats. Lesson learned? Don't settle. Wait for the ones I want before opening the wallet. (Others have suggested going straight to the bar upon entry. Seems like that could be good advice next time.
