Mary's is a small club with a dive bar feel and cramped seating. There's never more than a few girls working at a time (of course, if there were more, where would they all fit?). The girls here tend toward more of a burlesque look than the alt-punk look common at Portland clubs and there's considerable variation between average and hot - of course with only a few girls working at a time, it's hard to say what you're going to get. The girls are usually friendly if you want to chat them up and there's not much hustle here - of course there's not much room for girls to mill around hustling people. The lap dance area is screened off but doesn't feel especially private, and you're not going to get any special favors or high mileage here, so you're probably better off saving your money for the rack. Or just go elsewhere. Mary's is the oldest strip club in Portland, so visit for the history and to say you've been there, but don't plan to make it your regular hangout.
