an earlier review mentions the new BYOB policy in passing..i thought it warranted clarification and detail in addition to updating the club's 'checklist' of features...prior to BYOB, cover was ten daytime and fifteen nitetime with frequent long stretches of 'customer appreciation' no cover from 6 to 9 during the week...periods when for some unknown reasons it would still be practically empty...now it's standardized at fifteen if you come in empty handed and twenty if you bring beer or wine, day or nite. when i attempted to enter this afternoon @ five the surly lug head (two shades of orange darker than john boehner) at the door asked for fifteen til i showed my bag whereupon he asked for twenty. in the meantime i spied four morose dancers competing for space on the stage and looking as lifeless as mannequins in macys..the one nearest me was on her knees parallel to the floor which her ginormous udders were nearly scraping...there was exactly one PL in the entire joint slumped in the back row twenty feet from the stage...so when mr. personality declined my overture for the slightly reduced cover of fifteen under the desolate circumstances i seized my opening and beat a hasty retreat...never did care for those damned hangers, empty clubs or thick necked personnel with the customer orientation instincts of a castrated yak...but i still like this place, heartily approve the new opportunity to imbibe while ogling fine, young starlets in the altogether, and will be back when i'm in a better mood...
