I'd been working in Atlanta for several weeks, and was disappointed with the club nearest to Norcross where I was staying (Oasis Goodtime Emporium). On my last week I had a couple of occasions to be near Sandy Springs and near The Main Stage, so I stopped in to check it out. It was exactly what I'd been looking for.

It's a smaller, more intimate club, where a guy can actually carry on a conversation with a dancer, maybe buy her a drink, and get a decent lap dance over to the side of the main floor without feeling like he's under a spotlight. I met several young ladies who were friendly and attentive. I had a mostly good time.

I say mostly, because later in the evening on my second visit, things went a little sour. I'd talked to a couple of dancers who said they'd come dance for me who never returned. At one point I was approached by the House Mom and shared my concerns. I was also having trouble getting served a drink. I don't really get drunk, and even when I do I'm not belligerent. But I think I was kind of feeling a little butt hurt and being a bit of a brat. The staff were very nice, and offered me coupons for free cover on a later visit. So it was really my fault and not the club's that I ended up a bit disappointed.
