Well, like many places in DR, your experience will vary. I went back for the first time in six months, and it was different from last time. Biggest surprise: when you go in and sit down, all the girls line up in front of you. Like a brothel. I guess that's better than having to wait for a girl to come to you. And, as previously stated, the girls don't seem to dance on stage. Totally different from a year ago. I think you can request a girl to dance onstage. Lap dances now are 800 pesos (about $22 dollars). I heard VIP is 5000 pesos (about $120) for two hours and everything goes in there, but confirm with the girl. Still the girls are beautiful and friendly, if you like Dominicans. And it seems a pretty safe environment to meet a girl and hook up if you want. Finally, i have to say I think the experience and price can be different if you don't speak Spanish. I do speak Spanish and try not to look like a tourist.
