Lapsus night club is now closed....

Lapsus night club is now closed. It used to be located behind the Marriott Renaissance Jaragua. I never had the chance to visit this club, but it was open during my visit in mid 2011. By my next trip there in mid 2012, the club was closed. When I asked around about it, I was told that the owner had opened a new club/hotel on Av. Pasteur, which is just a short walk to the east down Av. Independencia. There are about four clubs on that street near the Malecon (waterfront), all of which are highly recommended (Girls House, Sky High Bar, etc.). Not sure which one is his, but the point is that Club Lapsus is no more. I can recommend any of the clubs on Av. Pasteur though. They don't really have a strip show or strippers per se, they are just girlie bars stocked with hookers of every shape, size, and quality. Most, if not all, have rooms on premises, and all will allow you to take the girl back to your hotel. Check your hotel guest policy before you strike a deal though. ;)
