This was my first visit to Diamonds. Mandatory coat check but no actual fee, just STRONGLY suggest you tip. Also a cover fee of $7, I think. The place looks quite nice and there is plenty of room to sit along the lengthy stage. My waitress was attentive and the only plate of food I saw looked OK. Beer cost the usual $7 or so and, if you want the waitress to continue to be attentive, it is best to tip each round.

The dancers were very attractive. They tend towards the plastic girls with large bolt-ons but a few of them had excellent shows and interacted with the audience well (not physically). This worked especially well during the loonie toss (which I hate). I usually just toss a $5 bill on stage and compliment the dancer in some way. There were a couple who visited me after the show and were fun to talk to and were very nice for a while before inquiring about a private dance. I politely declined and they politely moved on (no offence taken - this is their job). There are also a few girls wandering around who don't do shows but who are available for dances in the VIP room. They ranged from very attractive to rather average looking. I don't think I saw an unattractive woman that night - and that includes the 3 or 4 women customers who were there as part of a couple. The atmosphere was rather lively for a weekday night and I enjoyed myself. I intend to return and, if one of the dancers strikes my fancy, I'll try a VIP dance and write another review.
