I know some of the last...

I know some of the last reviews for the Underground have been discouraging, but after my last visit I think things are starting to pick up; hopefully this is a sign of change for other clubs in WV. I've noticed that the website is in transition for this club and its affiliates and this might be an indication of the change of management another reviewer mentioned. I would say that there are definitely a few new faces at the Underground. Sure there are a handful of career dancers still, but I would say that at least half the dancers on my last visit were new. I think the dancers are learning how to take advantage of the IR cameras in the VIP room, because my last LDs were the best I've had in years and certainly more than I had come to expect based on previous visits to WV clubs (this one included). I spent most of the afternoon with Jade, but had to excuse myself multiple times to tip a duo of dancers that really seemed to 'enjoy' each other on the dance floor - everytime those two were on the dancefloor they stole the entire rooms attention. There were also a couple of dancers that were really making use of the pole and ceiling attachments (I'm talking pull-ups and near gravity defying acts!) - the previous generation of dancers would pretty much ignore the pole and do most of their moves stretched out on the floor - there's something about a good pole show that seems so 'elegant' - an odd word to describe a SC. I was a little unnerved by Jade who I offered to buy a drink and she said she wasn't old enough yet. I had thought she was a little older and near the same age as me. Jill is still bartending and seems more relaxed, though I noticed that when last call hit, this place really shut down - lights dimmed, all dancers vacated, but to their credit the bouncer put out free passes to Vixens upstairs. My only gripe is that I wish they offered a full dining service (I actually had to call for delivery this time, which was sort of uncomfortable - oddly enough they didn't seem to mind that I had my smartphone out in the club) I also wish they would offer out the 2 for 1 specials that their sister club, Taboo, occasionally offers. Based on 'food' and $ value it might be time for me to check out Maryland.
