after leaving og, headed to sapphire on a friday evening, around 10pm. i left the comfortable confines of og to the high glitz of sapphire. i believe sapphire is billed as the largest strip club in the country. arrived by cab and there's a $35/person entry fee. once inside, you are free to roam, but all the tables are marked reserved. very frustrating to see so many tables unoccupied but marked reserved. after about an hour at the club, leaning against the wall, i saw a unoccupied table and decided to sit down. i was soon met by a waitress and told if i wanted to sit, i had to go to the front desk and request to be seated. i am not 100% certain, but was told that $20 would get me a seat. this is after the $35 entry fee. outrageous. the beers at the club was $12. the women at the club were very average. after a bout 2 hours of standing, i was approached by a spanish dancer who promised me a great time. she tried selling me a vip. can't recall the exact price, but it was somewhere in the vicinity of $200/15 mins. i finally agreed to a $20 dance. mainly because i wanted to sit down, if only for 3 minutes. dance was below average, perhaps a 3, but the seat was superb, i give the chair a 10. left sapphire soon after.
