I visited the Penthouse Club when...

I visited the Penthouse Club when I was in Detroit for a business meeting. The layout of the club is spacious and clean. The club is laid out with a fairly large stage with stairs coming down from the second floor (where the dancers enter), and poles going up to the second floor (which the girls work). One dancer is stripping while another dancer is kind of on deck partially clothed. Once the girl stripping finishes, she then rotates through more pole stations on one side of the club (in front of some booths), and then ends up with a session at the downstairs bar. Every once in a while, they lower two large Harleys from the ceiling and the two girls do a grind / dance / show. On each side of the stage there are seats, and then two rows of booths (each elevated so you get a good view). There are several curtained VIP rooms upstairs along with a bar that overlooks the stage. Since I was in town alone, I asked for a booth not near the front. The cover was 10, and the doorman asked for 15 for the booth. I grabbed a burger and an appetizer because I flew in late and all the restaurants were closed. It was actually pretty good -- something I'd pay for at a regular restaurant. My only gripe about the place is that the lighting could be turned down a bit.

The girls were all high quality. Most of them were in the 7+ range, with some 8s and 9s. When I was there, the dancers seemed to have a more natural (less silicon-enhanced look), which I like. As soon as I sat down (again, I was there alone), several of the less attractive girls stopped by. These seemed to be the ones that were more into providing ITC extras. I eventually went upstairs to the VIP curtained off rooms with some of the dancers. Lap dances with MT are $25, and other extras start in the $.5 range upwards. It seemed to depend on the girl, but they seemed way more willing to do extras from the clubs in my area (DC).

Overall a good experience, but you need to bring a fair amount of money to have fun. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in town (I actually did when I was there the following month).
