I finally ventured out of my 2 club circuit, and decided to try Diamonds. I had pretty high hopes, since I knew they were a sister club to my favourite club in the city, Eden. Pulling up to the club, I didn't really like the look of the outside for some reason, but they have a nice big parking lot, which was a plus. Going into the club, there's the usual ID scan, and no cover for females. It's also nice not to get the pat down of death at Diamonds or Eden.
The club itself is very long. The stage is quite long, and has a LOT of seating for the front row. There are tons of tables all around the club, and a small bar about partway through. The "VIP" part of the room was sectioned off by a curtain in the back. All the standard Edmonton prices apply for everything. $6.25 beers, $30/dance, etc. Quality of the dancers wasn't bad, a few I had seen before due to the circuit that travels around Edmonton. I feel like this is the one club in Edmonton that caters more to African Americans than anywhere else. There was one or two black dancers, the rest seemed predominately white, though.
Same dancer rotation as the other clubs, about one dancer every 20-25 minutes, 3 songs then songs 4+ for 'playtime' with the loonie toss. As I mentioned before, dances are still $30/dance, same as any other Edmonton club. They are per 5 minutes though, which is nice than getting songs chopped off at 3.5 minutes and getting less time with the girls. The lap dance room is off to the side of the club, and is a long hallway full of private cubicles with curtains, making for enjoyable private time.
