I've been working in Memphis the past few weeks and I decided to try out one of the Memphis strip clubs, this review is a culmination of about 3 different visits to El Cabaret Dulce Amante a club in South Memphis.

I initially planned on going to Pure Passion, a club that is literally right down the street from this club, but when I passed by PP's it looked empty (maybe closed) even though it had the word 'open' on the sign outside (I later learned that Pure Passion only gets busy really late at night and on Monday nights when they hold a dancer boxing match in the club). So instead of going to PP's I went to El Cabaret Dulce Amante which is like a minute down the road.

The club has a nice appearance, it is set in an industrial/commercial area in South Memphis on Brooks Rd not far from the airport, the area seems relatively OK (as far as Memphis goes), the area is a little dingy but I never felt unsafe. Once entering the club you are given a pat down and checked for ID by the security stationed at the door, the cover is either $5 (during the day) or $10 (at night). Once inside you are greeted to a nice sized club with comfortable seating.
