This is Canada so its not like stripclubs in the states or other countries. I'm not sure but it seems like the girls are paid by the club and what tips the men place on the stage. The dancers are professionals, there's no rhythmless moving to a pair of songs while they take off a bra and thong. These girls had full five piece costumes, before they got to their shoes and socks, and their sets were twenty minutes long or more. Once they were naked they brought out felt blankets and used them to spin and slide across the stage floor. They worked the audiance, flirting, playing, etc.

And once they took a short nude shower, every Thursday night, they were done. There were no private booths or areas for private dances. I'd heard that in Vancouver clubs the girls sold massages, not here. There were no girls wandering around in lingerie trying to get guys to buy massages, or lap dances or hover dances. Nothing. When the girls were off the stage they were done until their next performance. There were supposed to be five girls that night, part of a Vancouver island circuit. I watched two excellent shows, sexier than a dozen US dancers but was very dissappointed that none came by my chair. The closest anyone got was stage side.

Okay, the rest of the place. This is basically a busy bar with live entertainment, nude girls. Upstairs there's another bar, V Lounge, with live entertainment, bands. An 8 ounce soda was five dollars. There were four pool tables (free three nights a week) and a consessions machine. Waitresses, dressed, came around often to clear your table and take your order and to snap at you if you were nursing ice water. There was about a hundred people there and between and a quarter and a third of them were straight women. Most girls with with guys but some were in packs of four.

Prostitution is not illegal in Canada so I had expected some working girls on the prowl but it looked like you would have to use your charm to separate a girl from her friends.

They have several video screen showing three channels, ESPN, UFC and their own slide shows. There are several signs warning you not to drink and drive and a line of taxis out front. Its a clean place you can take your girlfriend.
