This is...
This is Canada, these girls put on a show. I watched two girls go through their routines. They started with five piece costumes and when they were naked they got out felt blankets to spin and slide around the floor. The dancers interacted with the audiance a lot. The DJ was good, he would play with the crowd and the dancers. The audiance was around fifty with maybe a third of them women and half of those either gay or friends of the dancers.
After her show the first girl came back in a bikini and took a guy who had been sitting right next to the stage by the hand and lead him to a kind of loft space with another stripper pole and I think a small stage for a private nude dance. I'd put a twenty on the stage not realizing this was a $5 club and the dancer had acknowledged me but after her private dances with the one guy were done she dissappeared. She didn't ask if I wanted a private dance of my own.
The girls who weren't dancing weren't working the room. They weren't trying to sell massages or private dances or what ever. I didn't see how the one guy communicated his desire for a private dance and I don't know what he paid for it. I'm not used to having to be proactive to get attention in a strip club.
An 8 ounce soda was $5 but the bartender refilled it for free after a half hour.
This is not a fancy club like the Fox. This is downtown with garish lights on the street and an old saloon feel inside. In the men's room was a machine selling six different kinds of condoms, etc.
