This was not my usual stop...

This was not my usual stop on the Block [not that they are that frequent; rather, there is just one place I tend to go]. I wanted a change of scenery. As soon as I walked in, I was pseudo-accosted by one particular dancer (with many a mark upon her body) and forced to give the Baltimore Handshake. While this can sometimes be pleasant, I'd rather choose whom to put my hands on (on the Block, more frequently none than any at all). Immediately I was put on the nearest bar stool and ground upon, as it were. Not even a chance to look around before I was being offered the "upstairs" option. Now, I was straightforward and said I walked in to grab a drink because a) that's all I could afford and b) that's all I wanted. She didn't seem to understand the concept and insisted. Her insistence resulted in the loss of any of my business for the predictable near future, since I eventually just got up and walked out.

Have never had a good experience at this place. They're always running an aggressive hustle. To be fair, however, it does seem (and I do think it is just SEEM) a bit cleaner and more spacious than many of the other clubs.
