Visited Night Trips with a friend on an early Friday afternoon. NT has always been the classiest SC with the best looking dancers in Tulsa, but it had been a long time since I'd been there. Was curious to see the renovations mentioned by other reviewers. You enter a tiny lobby before the club proper, and they now have opaque windows there with a stage directly on the other side. The effect is that you see the silhouette of the girl on that stage before you even enter the club. Very neat. A drawback to that setup though is that if you're inside the club during the day you get blinded by the light through those windows as people enter or leave. The occasional burst of light can be helpful though, if this is your first visit, or the first in a long time. It is DARK. I couldn't see a damn thing for the first 10 minutes I was in there. The waitresses now wear white corsets that glow under the blacklight, which is good because you wouldn't be able to see them otherwise. Once our eyes adjusted to the gloom we looked around.

As mentioned by others, the raised area that used to be for private parties now has a 4 or 5 foot wall around it, and is now the lapdance area. You can see, and be seen, by the others in the LD area, but it's definitely more private than NT's old setup, couches by the outer wall. As you enter, to the right the area that used to be the pool tables has been closed in to make a new private party room. The guy at the door said they were still working on it, but that when completed it would have it's own bar and stage. To the right of the second stage is an open doorway with several small cubicles inside with a bench in each one. Looks like private LD rooms I've seen in other clubs, but it appeared to be totally unused. Not sure what that is all about. They seem to have removed most of the televisions in the club. I only saw a couple facing the bar, which is fine with me. I've been to clubs where what's on TV is preferable to what's on stage (Escapades, anyone?), but thankfully NT has never been on of those places.

Once we were seated the waitresses quickly came by to take our order. I'm not much of a drinker so I can't tell you about the booze that they now offer. Back in the day one of the drawbacks to visiting NT at night was that the music got WAY TOO LOUD. Sad to say, that now seems to be standard procedure for the day, as well. My friend and I had to lean in and yell to converse. The fact that my hearing is shot to hell probably didn't help.
