Knowing that this club is associated...

Knowing that this club is associated with the Sundowner, Penthouse and Seductions Clubs in Niagara Falls, and the Solid Gold club in Burlington, I had higher expectations of my visit to this club on a Friday night. Arrived around 9 pm, and the club was pretty dead inside. I think they charged me a small cover, around $5 if memory serves correctly. I wasn't seated more then 2 minutes before I was approached by one of the dancers. Most of the dancers would come and sit and try small chit-chat before asking for a dance. They wouldn't be gone from the table more then 2-3 minutes before the next would arrive. The repetitive conversation was a bit taxing as I just wanted to enjoy a beer and the stage show before going for a dance or two. Eventually I took one of the girls back for a dance, standard $20 lap dances. Top came off 1/2 way through the first song, but the bottoms stayed on. She asked for another dance and I asked her point blank if the bottoms would be coming off. They did, 1/2 way through the song, but I was still pretty unsatisfied and the dance was very low mileage with very little grinding and hardly any emotion. I later took a second girl back who wasn't much better then the first and decided to call it a night after a single dance. The club did get a bit busier around midnight, but still nowhere near capacity and mostly single guys like myself, or groups of 2-3. One of the dancers told me it was a typical Friday night at the club. Seemed to be all locals, and most of the girls knew most of the guys there. The stage itself is like a clover shape, and the girls seemed to roam the entire stage. Lighting was decent. The lap dance rooms are in full view of the main room, so everyone gets to watch you when you go for a dance... not a great setup. A few times I saw dancers pull curtains shut only to have the bouncers tie them back open. Overall a bit of a disappointing trip. I'd rank the club higher then Hamilton Strip, but lower then Solid Gold in Burlington. Definitely lower then, and no comparison to, any of the 3 sister clubs in Niagara Falls.
