I was looking to make pit...
I was looking to make pit stop on my way through south Houston and saw the reviews for The Palace and curiosity got the best of me. All reviews to date were dead on, it's primarily a Hispanic club, but friendly (I visited during early afternoon). Walked in around 3pm, no cover, Bud Light $5.25, and honestly the place was kinda dead except for what looked to be a couple of 'regulars'. Bartender assured me I came in during the normal shift change, 7 girls were due in at any time (take that with salt). I was approached by the only dancer on duty, not pushy, just chatted for a few minutes and said if I wanted a dance just to let her know (5 at best guys - bartender was maybe a 6, nothing to drive hours for). Anyway, I was about to leave and polished off my beer, I then proceeded to get a 'charity lap dance' and for $20 to the house I was off to the upstairs area used for curtained off private dances. She did 2 songs for $20 then asked what else I was up for (menu was not limited). As mentioned by others, extras abound, but this really ain't the place a guy with any cares about his personal hygiene and health should indulge - I took a pass. Just my opinion, this is a dive and I have been to much classier places - let your tastes guide you.
