Decided to hit up Vanity before...

Decided to hit up Vanity before heading for the evening. Being that it was still early (a little after 9pm) I wasn’t expecting much. Wasn’t charged a cover, not sure if that’s normal because it was early or what. Great beer special 5/$10. Dance specials were $15 in the “public” areas. Very few dancers in the lineup at that hr, I counted 5-6 tops. Despite there being an equally small number of customers at that hr, sat at the bar for quite a while without being approached. Chatted with the bar tender, who was hotter than the 5 dancers on duty, but she said she doesn’t dance. Finally gave the dance special a tryout with a black girl (names escapes me). Other than the low price, there was nothing really special about it. Bartender said that things don’t really heat up until after midnight. All in all, I’d go back, but would not bother going in before midnight. Just not much happening before then.
