Camelot is pretty well known in the area as being the club with the most attractive girls in DC. I have been here several times and for the most part the reputation is well deserved.

However, the last two times I went, someone in my group was turned away by the 50 year old doorman because he said they were "too drunk." Granted we had a few drinks beforehand and weren't sober but my friends were by no means drunk. I could understand getting turned away if they were slurring thier speech or if they were stumbling around but my friends were not anywhere near that level. In fact we weren't turned away from anywhere else that evening before or after Camelot.

I am not sure if this is a form of crowd control or if the doorman thought we didn't look like good tippers (maybe he had us pegged for college kids) or what but either way Camelot has something shady going on and I don't think I will be back.
