"Kein Mann ist frei mit Gepack". Yes, if you have baggage, you're not free to explore and nose around. However, this place is within walking distance (even with a suitcase) from the intercity bus station. Just a few blocks down the hill--but oh...those stairs. Place looks like a dump outside and not much better inside, but if you wander down Ste. Catherine St. any further, you'll miss your connecting bus. Yes, if you have a bag and a coat you have to check them to the imposing looking fellow at the door. Then the stairway...if not to Paradise, at least to a better place than on the street. As another poster wrote, it is not technically lap dancing, but contact dancing...get behind a curtain with the young lady and she dances for you and gives you all of her attention that she can within the Canada Criminal Code. Girls are friendly, mostly francophone but they smile and put up with my lousy French. No one pushes drinks or anything else on you, and when you hit that 11.30 pm Greyhound to the US border, you will have a warm feeling toward the lovely Canadiennes.
