Finally stopped at Scarlett's Hallandale - being a midweek night there were no parking issues. However that shoping strip is kind of tricky to navigate at first, wedged as it is in between the train tracks and the I-95 S on-ramp

The venue is quite comfortable and well-appointed. At the beginning of this slower evening only the main part of the room is open - 1 bar, the main platform stage in the middle, and two small satellites to one side behind which was a then-closed vip-seating area. In one of those satellites the dancer gets kind of shafted in that the bar is to the opposite side so someone at the bar can easily step uo and tip someone at main stage and the right-hand satellite, but will not make the trek all the way diagonally across the room. As the evening progressed a courtain was pulled back and another small stage, seating area and bar got revealed, so evidently they have an eye on crowd flow.

The club has some outstanding-looking dancers there -- yes, there were a number who were of so-so or lesser quality, but their top-rank ones are very, very hot and they draw up the average score. More of what I guess we'd call "magazine-conventional" body type than at, for instance, Tootsie's, but still there WILL be someone for your taste. Anglo gals, Eastern Europeans, Latinas, Aframs, about the one thing missing were Asians. No tip walk, mercifully, and the $35 two-fer special at the end of the dancer parade is the best deal IMO -- the tunes are not badly shortened by the DJ. The ladies approached in a friendly manner and at least during my visit were quite at ease with a "no thanks", but I do have to say that there were time periods during which they seemed to go hide somewhere. OTOH it being a slow night it was possible to catch a girl's eye from across the room and not have her poached before she got to your seat... Tried to use the two-fers when I could and got a number of ladies to join me including one Bulgarian girl with well-enhanced upstairs whose dances were good, sensuous, very very close.
