I visited Emperors in Jacksonville on...

I visited Emperors in Jacksonville on Friday night. I arrived around 6pm while they were having a free buffet and drink specials and the place was very busy. The buffet was good and the drink specials pretty much saved you about a buck off of whatever you bought. The dancers were average looking but not very friendly. I chalked it up to being close to shift change. At 7PM when the shift change did occur and the buffet was stopped, the place emptied out to maybe a dozen guys and about that many girls. Even with that few guys they had THREE shot girls working and two of them were very pushy. We finally bought one round from the non-pushy one and told them all to get lost as we were done with shots for the night. One very cute Asian girl was taking her top off on stage when she danced and she was getting all the tips. The rest of the girls were doing so-so. Even though my buddies and I tipped multiple dancers on stage, the best we got was a thanks afterwards - no conversation or spending any time at the table. Many girls were sitting by themselves by the bar or at tables. We stayed until about 9PM and after we tipped the Asian chick a second time and got ignored afterwards we split. I still like this place and am guessing this was an off night but I won't be back any time soon.
