This is not a review of...

This is not a review of one specific visit to the Ritz. Rather it is comments gleaned from a long time customer who has been going off and on for many years. If you read the last few reviews, you see a wildly different and conflicting viewpoints about this club. Some of the reviewers say it's a great club with many hot dancers; others say it is terrible. As a long-time VIP member, I would like to set some of these misconceptions straight.

One, the club is very nice. It is especially nice after they tore out the old downstairs VIP room and replaced it with a beautiful sports bar with lots of modern TV's and new sparkling furniture. They still have one of the nicest VIP rooms in town upstairs. This is for members only. Membership these days is about $800 lifetime, but it was a lot cheaper when I bought it. The upstairs VIP has many very private dark private alcoves. They have their own bar, bathroom, and wait staff. They have some really big projection TV screens, and it is one of the best places in town to see a big fight. On many Saturdays now, they block off the upstairs and turn it into a couples swingers club. There is still a place to get private dances though, because they have recently added some very booths near the front of the club with its own private entrance.

Another misconception is the quality of the girls. The overall dancer quality rating is IMHO way too high for this club. Its numerical value (close to 8) would have you think it rivals Treasures or the St. James in quality. The overall dancer quality is nowhere near that quality. However, there is tremendous dancer turnover, and you will often find very young pretty girls that are just starting out before they hit the big leagues. While there are dancers of all ethnic types, the majority of dancers are young and white. Dancer quality is as good as any except for the aforementioned two top-tier clubs. So people who have never been to this club should keep their expectations in check, but know that it probably won't be a complete waste of time.
