I just don't get the appeal...
I just don't get the appeal of this place. I wandered in after paying my $15 cover and was a little overwhelmed, so I had a waitress (who was very nice) give me a tour. During this tour, I was accosted by no fewer than five dancers asking me for company. I hadn't even sat down with a drink, and I'm having to shoot down dancer after dancer.
Finally I sit down in front of the stage, where dancers are restricted to pasties and shorts (which means there's little reason to look at the stage). But stage dancing is clearly not what this club is about. I had an assortment of dancers approach me, and I asked a couple about prices for the back room activity. Like good saleswomen, they all started with the gold-plated plan: $150 bottle of champagne for VIP entry, plus a few hundred to the dancer for an hour. I'm more an a la carte guy, so I asked about per song rates, and was quoted between $25/dance to 3 dances for $100 in the lower area. None of these women particularly appealed to me, and all the details and potential negotiation was not fun. So I finished my beer and left, to discover greener pastures elsewhere.
I suppose if your budget is >$500 you can have a fine time here, but you can have a fine time just about anywhere with that kind of money!
