I went to Scores as a...

I went to Scores as a part of a bachelor party evening. It was not part of the plan. We had in room entertainment later in the evening. No one at the bachelor party was from NYC, so after inquiring about a club we wound up at scores. The 5 of us got in for $100 total, but were not allowed to sit until after we got a bottle. "hell it's his bachelor party" a buddy and I said as we purchased bottle number 1. But those minutes awkwardly standing and deciding what we were going to do were no fun; maybe it's NYC style, but I'd much rather spend my money in a place with southern hospitality.

Once we were seated we got attention and the bottle was quickly drained by our party and the three the dancers. So we bought another. That too was quickly drained. A flurry of table dances for the groom and grooms brother. We walked out in less than an hour having spent $500. While I imagine the size of the party etc. played a role, I left not feeling very good about it. I wasn't terribly impressed. The funny thing is I wasn't aware we were at the heralded "Scores." I was just going with the flow and in my imagination Scores was far more impressive it was in real life.

Maybe next time I'll give it another chance, but I was far from balling at that point in time and now I can't imagine I'd want to spend a much of money their either.
